For any issue with the Power Wheels® 12V Quick Charger please follow this Flow Chart.
Make sure you charge the battery for at least 18 hours (30 hours max) before operating your vehicle for the first time. Charge the battery for at least 14 hours after each use of the vehicle. *It is necessary to charge the battery immediately after use. It is damaging to the battery when it has been used and then sits without being charged. After a full charge the battery can sit up to two-three months when not in use.
The Power Wheels® 12V Quick Charger will not produce an output until it is plugged into a working Power Wheels® battery. The charger needs to detect a battery before it starts charging, so no voltage will be present when testing it with a volt meter.
Traction bands have been designed for and are included for use on specific single seat Jeep models to improve traction. The unauthorized use of traction bands on other Power Wheels® vehicles will void the product warranty and may pose both safety and reliability issues including decreased motor and/or gearbox life.
Due to the technical nature of Power Wheels® products, some Power Wheels® parts may only be installed by our authorized service centers, therefore we’re unable to provide repair manuals or diagrams. Power Wheels® has independently owned and operated authorized service centers that carry replacement parts, batteries, and chargers in addition to repairing vehicles in or out of warranty. Our Service Center locator will assist you in finding one of our authorized service centers in your area as well as provide you website addresses for service centers that offer on-line shopping.
Do not place used batteries in your regular trash. Instead, return the battery to a federal or state approved lead-acid battery recycler. This may be a Power Wheels® Authorized Service Center or a local retailer of automotive batteries.
Battery life will vary depending on how you follow the Charging and Battery Care Instructions. It's also affected by the total number of hours the batteries are used. Average battery life is one to three years.
If your vehicle was originally equipped with a Green 6v 6amp Power Wheels® battery, a Connector Converter may be used to allow the use of a Red 6V 9.5 amp Power Wheels® battery.
Connector Converters should not be used on any product purchased before October of 1998.
If you have any questions or would like to obtain a Connector Converter, please have your product number with you and contact Consumer Relations at 1-800-432-5437.

The very first time you use Car Maker, you need to insert 2 wax sticks. Car Maker comes pre-loaded with 1 wax stick. The second stick you insert is not meant to fit completely inside the machine – it will protrude through the top. After you have made your very first car, only 1 additional wax stick needs to be inserted every time. Please note that ALL wax sticks must be inserted with the point side down.
There is a silver-colored speed control button on the lower left side of the screen. The image on it is a gear box. Tap the button to move from “Stop” mode to “Slow” and “Fast” modes.

You should pull the car back so that your car stays in that location on the screen.

The green tool icon will allow you to upgrade your vehicle in the workshop.
